Terms & Conditions
In making a purchase / transaction with our company you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
* Guarantee *
M-Tec Dynamics offers a 6 month guarantee on our workmanship (not vinyl) and will replace/re-wrap any vinyl wrapped defective trim on your vehicle free of charge, subject to these guarantee conditions.
Our guarantee applies to items that are part of the interior trim finisher set only and that have been vinyl wrapped by M-Tec Dynamics only, and at M-Tec Dynamics discretion. All our work is inspected for defects before despatch, or when installed if the work was carried out at our premises.
M-Tec Dynamics will guarantee M-Tec Dynamics own brand Black 3D & Black 4D Carbon Vinyls, MTD-TEX & MTD-HG, only, all other finishes are excluded.
The guarantee excludes damage or misuse (scratches, marks, rips etc) caused by the customer.
The customer must return any trim that has been approved under the guarantee within 14 days of reporting the defect, or make visit arrangements for the work to be carried out at our workshop.
The defective part will repaired / re-wrapped free of charge ONE time only.
This guarantee operates independently of the purchase date and is non transferable from the party named on the sales invoice / purchase receipt, and is no longer valid once the car is sold on.
*Our Alcantara-style Fabric is not covered by our guarantee*
*Custom ordered material or job specific vinyls are not covered by our guarantee*
*Additional parts at customers request that are not part of the BMW Interior Trim Set Finishers.
*Customer must retain & provide original receipt of work for any guarantee work to be approved
This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
Postage costs of returning the defective items are the responsibility of the customer, unless in exceptional circumstances by prior agreement.
* Exchange Service *
Please take extra care when removing and installing our interior trims, as any damage to trims that are returned to M-Tec Dynamics as part of an exchange service could result in a deduction of exchange price. This includes broken fixing clips and/or damage to the profile of the trims. Cosmetic marks or scratches is not considered as damage.
Please also ensure the trims are in original form (not wrapped, painted or dipped etc)
Exchanged trim sets are to be returned to M-Tec Dynamics within 30 days of date of sale, or the exchange deal will be void.
* Wrapping Services * (Customers sending own parts)
M-Tec Dynamics will take the utmost care and attention when work is carried out at on your own trims. In most cases the trims will require some slight preparation in order to achieve the highest possible results on our wrapping services, this usually involves a slight rub down with abrasive papers and alcohol cleaners. Most modern BMW models (F-Series & G-Series) also require some of the trims to be split and rebonded as they have multiple parts & accent lines bonded together which will require separating to wrap the main trim and to achieve best results and validate our lifetime guarantee.
All work carried out by M-Tec Dynamics is at the customers own risk. M-Tec Dynamics are not liable for any damage caused. Accidental damage is extremely rare but can happen so please ensure you discuss your requirements with M-Tec Dynamics and we can advise on any possible risks before sending your parts to us.
Upon sending your trims to us, you are accepting the above terms.
* Installation *
We are happy to arrange installation of any product at our own or one of our agent's workshops by individual arrangement. Please note that purchase of parts from M-Tec Dynamics does not infer or imply mandatory installation of said parts by M-Tec Dynamics or it's agents. The sale of parts and installation of parts are considered a separate contract. M-Tec Dynamics and it's agents are at liberty to cancel either, for whatever reason prior to the installation date. During installation/whilst carrying out any works we cannot be held responsible for the failure of malfunction of parts already worn / damaged parts on the vehicle which may subsequently fail or deteriorate during or after installation/works.
** Please note - Any trims that are traded into M-Tec Dynamics as part exchange for our interior trim set services "fully fitted based on exchange" will belong to M-Tec Dynamics at the point of the work being carried out, customer inspecting the work and making payment in full.
* Bookings for Fitting based on exchange at our workshop *
Terms of our exchange service:-
Please send photos of your current dash trims so we can ensure the correct set is done for your car
If you have any vinyl on them then this will need to be removed prior to your appointment and all glue adhesive removed also.
We don't exchange any trims that have an aftermarket finish, for example dipped or painted.
Any trims that are damaged will be wrapped during your appointment and returned to your car,
Please remove any phone or sat nav holders that attach to the air vents, aftermarket lighting strips, and/or anything else that will interfere with the removal and refit of the trims that are being replaced.
* Replacement Custom Colour Seatbelts *
Our seatbelt mechanisms are genuine BMW used parts and so M-Tec Dynamics can’t offer no guarantee with these parts, however the mechanisms are tested before we re-web them and retested before despatch.
Our webbing and stitch work does come with 6 months guarantee.
The mechanisms are used parts that are fully tested before any work is carried out, and these come with a 6 month warranty
All seat belts that are taken in part exchange (either with our fitting based on exchange service at our workshop or postal exchange service) must be in full working condition or there will be an additional charge to cover the cost of a replacement seat belt.
Custom orders may be cancelled within a 48 hour ‘Cooling off’ period, we MUST be informed as soon as possible by email to info@mtecdynamics.com and not longer than 48 hours from purchase that you wish to cancel. Once 48 hours has elapsed, we cannot accept cancellation.
Your rights as a consumer remain, your statutory rights are un-affected, however, we cannot accept returns on custom made items for any other reason than damage or product fault, the items are made to order to your specification.
*We try to show the true colour of the webbing, but with camera filters & natural lighting please allow slight difference in colour.
* Steering Wheels *
Custom made orders
Custom orders may be cancelled within a 48 hour ‘Cooling off’ period, we MUST be informed as soon as possible by email to info@mtecdynamics.com and not longer than 48 hours from purchase that you wish to cancel. Once 48 hours has elapsed, we cannot accept cancellation.
Your rights as a consumer remain, your statutory rights are un-affected, however, we cannot accept returns on custom made items for any other reason than damage or product fault, the items are made to order to your specification.
If an item arrives damaged or faulty, please inform us straight away. The steering wheel must be returned unused and in it’s original packaging no later than 7 days from the date of confirmed delivery.
Should a custom steering wheel be supplied fully complete with switch packs, paddle shifters, airbag retainer plate, front fascia trim and rear fascia trim, and one of these components is faulty, we will exchange the faulty part only.
All items carry a 6 Month material warranty. This warranty does not cover damage or wear and tear.
Non – Custom items
If the steering wheel is a stock item, it may also be cancelled, please advise us as soon as possible by email.
We offer a 7 day return policy on all non-custom items, the item MUST be unused and returned in it’s original packaging and you must advise us within 7 days of receipt. If the item is not returned in it’s original condition, you will not receive a full refund.
Steering Wheel Refunds
Refunds will be processed and expedited in a timely manner, but please allow for upto 7 working days to process and appear back in your account. Processing time commences from the receipt of the returned item back to us following a satisfactory inspection of the item.
Refunds are based on the item price and will exclude postage costs and will normally be subject to a 10-15 % admin & restocking fee.
* Payment and Prices *
Prices for our products & services are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.
We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
* General Terms and Conditions *
While every effort is made to depict products accurately, images found on this web site do not necessarily depict the product with which they are linked and are used purely for illustrative purposes only. Our aim is to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. We entrust to all our customers that if there is dissatisfaction by the customer and this is deemed to be reasonable then we will do all we can to resolve any problems in question. No negative comments regarding M-Tec Dynamics or our partners shall be posted by the customer on any internet or other forums, blogs, magazines or any other form of media. Breach of our terms in this regard will result in one or more of the following : cessation of all works / retention of all parts by us until due payment up to point of cessation / a financial penalty to the customer reflecting damages caused. During installation/whilst carrying out any works we cannot be held responsible for the failure of malfunction of parts already worn / damaged parts on the vehicle which may subsequently fail or deteriorate during or after installation/works. M-Tec Dynamics operate a Zero tolerance policy with regards to unreasonable, abusive or threatening behaviour, statements or demands by customers, at our discretion. All Parts supplied / work carried out by M-Tec Dynamics remain our property until final payment is made. M-Tec Dynamics will not be held responsible for sub sequential costs, losses or damages resulting from an incorrect, damaged or warranted part(s), this includes third party labour costs, fuel costs, salary etc. However we will do all possible to resolve any problem with the item itself. At M-Tec Dynamics we are always here to help and advise with the fitment of all parts supplied by us.
* Online Orders *
Online orders can normally only be delivered to the confirmed address. We reserve the right to refuse suspect payments and to carry out additional security checks including address verification, bank referrals , date of birth, occupation etc. All orders will normally be despatched within 48 hours of your order if in stock, or of our receiving the goods if they are not in stock at time of order. Most items will be sent by trackable courier and must be signed for. A signature to our courier will be deemed as goods received in safe condition.
* Deposits Paid *
Deposits paid for booking confirmations are non refundable under any circumstances. This includes customers no longer wanting to have the work undertaken or cancels/fails to attend their appointment, or failure to attend their appointment on time without sufficient notice resulting in a cancellation of the booking.
Deposits can only be held for a maximum 3 months, and are non-transferable (from one vehicle to another or from/to alternative date if failure to attend original appointment date without prior notice of cancellation)
* Quotations are valid for 30 days *
